On Saturday night, I cooked dinner and watched TV. On Sunday, I ironed my clothes and emptied the trash. I also shopped for food and made my bed.

I have a very busy day. I get up at 7:15, and I eat breakfast at 7:30. Then I take a shower, get dressed, and I go to work. I teach from Monday to Friday, from 9 to 1. I usually eat lunch around 1:30. I prepare lessons until 5, and then I leave work. I arrive home at 5:30, watch TV until 6:00. I eat dinner and exercise until 10, and then I read a book until 11. Finally, I go to sleep.

Life Skills and Work Skills

Hello my name is Jack and I have life skills and work skills. For life skills, I can drive a car, speak two languages, use a computer, and go shopping. I have a problem, though. I cannot cook very well.

For work skills, I can teach English, write lesson plans, use the internet, and write reports. I cannot fix a car, sell things, or fix a computer. I don't think a salesperson is a good job because I cannot fix a car.

What are your life skills and work skills?

Work

Hi! My name is Jack and I live in Chicago. Now I work as an English teacher. Before I was a pizza delivery driver and a student.

I think a teacher is a good job because I can prepare lessons, use a computer, and teach English. I can speak Spanish and a little Japanese. I think a cook is a bad job because I can't cook food, and I can't work in a restaurant.

What is your job now? What was your job in your country? What is a good job for you? What is a bad job for you?
