Schools in my country

My name is Jack, and I am from Chicago. There are many schools in my country. Everybody goes to school from 1st grade to 12th grade. Some high schools are very large and some high schools are very small. My high school is free. It has 2,000 students. There are many universities in the United States, too. Universities cost money, and sometimes they are very expensive. I like the schools in the United States, but sometimes there are big problems.

What are schools in your country like? Please write a story.

My Favorite Room

My favorite room in my apartment is my living room. It is a big room. There is a nice sofa. Over the sofa are many photos of my family and friends. Next to the sofa is a large bookcase. In front of the sofa is a coffee table. Under the coffee table is a rug. There are two armchairs in my living room. One is green and it is next to my sofa. The brown one is on the other side of the room, next to the telephone. There are 3 large windows in my living room. There is a bookcase in front of one window. There is a small table next to the bookcase. There is a small TV on the bookcase. On the floor there is a beautiful rug. There is a lamp in each corner of the room. The walls of my living room are painted orange. I like my living room. It is very comfortable and cheerful. I like to read and watch movies in that room.

What is your favorite room in your house? Describe it. Why is it your favorite?
