January 29 Class Schedule

Today, we are going to practice present continuous (-ing verbs).

1. We are going to do some mouse practice. We are going to play a Map game.
2. We are going to do some typing practice. We are going to use the program Mavis Beacon.
3. We are going to do some writing practice with famous paintings.
4. Lastly, We are going to do some grammar practice on present continuous (-ing verbs) and possessive adjectives (his, her,...).

My New Year's

My name is Jack, and I live in Chicago. New Year's Eve is always a fun night. Every year I go to a big party. At the party there are bright lights and loud music. I dance and sing with friends and family. At midnight, there is a large celebration. I watch the big ball drop on the TV. It is a very noisy night. The next day I am tired and sleepy. I don't go to work on January 1st, New Year's Day.

Jack's Busy Day

I have a very busy day. I wake up every morning at 7:00. I take a shower at 7:15. I eat breakfast at 7:30. I leave for school at 8:00. I teach class from 9:00 to 1:00 Monday through Thursday. I teach class from 3:00 to 5:00 Monday and Wednesday. I go home every day at 5:00. I eat dinner with my friend at 6:30. I read a book from 7:00 to 8:00. I watch TV from 8:00 to 9:00. I relax from 10:00 to 11:00. I go to sleep at 11:00.
